John Calvin Foster, born July 8th 1832, died Sept 2nd 1889. He married Caroline Fawcett June 8th 1882, and lived near Bower-Hill Washington county Pa. While assisting a neighbor to thresh he was accidently thrown from a straw stack and received injuries from which he died in two or three days. He was interred in the cemetery of Center church. His wife moved to Cannonsburg with the children where she still resides. They had three children, William James, Clyde McCune, and Nancy McLoney.
